Miami Part 1

Last week around this time I was getting ready for my trip to Miami. It was my first time at Miami. All this while, I have only heard so much about the hype of Miami and only now I have the chance to check it out in person.

During my trip to Miami, I was staying at Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel. The hotel was established in 1956 and has been restored to its supreme status again. Apparently, many Hollywood names like Elizabeth Taylor, Katharine Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart have stayed and hung out at this hotel before. When I was checking it, the hotel was busy with guests from all over the place. Check it out yourself and let me know what you think of this place.

Want to get injured, use Air Wick® Air Freshener...!

If you would like to get some money from Reckitt Benckiser, go buy Air Wick® Air Freshener and sue them for negligence. The mist from the spray that lands on either bathroom floor tiles or finished wooden floor can cause serious injury. It has been a few incidents Serene tripped due to the slipperiness of the floor. I even emailed Reckitt Benckiser to inform them about the accidents and still the products have not been recalled.

You would think someone from their quality control or compliance would take swift action to prevent further accidents. Well, I have not heard anything from them yet except thanks for the email and the comments have been relayed to the marketing department.

Air Wick® Air Freshener
If you are a risk taker, buy one and spray in the air in your bathroom and wait for the mist to land on the  floor tiles. Step on it and tell us your experience...!

MARS's Presentation by Adrian

Today is another memorable day as I presented at another iconic company. It is MARS, the maker of M&M's, Snickers, 3 Musketeers, Twix's, Milky Way, Dove, etc. The chocolate development office is located at Hackettstown. Their office has an open space concept. There are no partitions between employees. They even have a vending machine loaded with free company produced snacks. How I wish I have that at my company...!

Anyway, at the end of presentation, we were all given a box of souvenir to take home. I thought it is a very nice touch on their part. Enjoy...!

I really love my job and do hope to have more presentations at companies with iconic brands.
