Las Vegas - Day 6
Monday, July 17th. 2006

Our last day. Sob! Sob! Honestly, I missed NJ's cooler weather but I'm truly gonna miss the fun & excitement of Las Vegas. Atlantic City is no match.

Photo on the left is of the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. The mall is impressive with naked statues greeting customers at the entrance but the price tags are through the roof for 80% of the shops in here.

We started the day here and made our way to Bellagio and its magnificent lake & musical fountain (see photo below). Say, Ocean's 13 is in production but there was no sign of Danny Ocean & gang though. After Bellagio, we visited Aladdin's Desert Passage and Paris Las Vegas.

Paris Las Vegas...Arc de triomphe, mini-Eiffel and inside the hotel casino

Later, we rushed back to Stratosphere for our complimentary Viva Las Vegas show at 4 p.m. The Deuce was extra slow today and we missed so many chances to board it due to over-crowding. Luckily, we made it to the Theatre of the Stars 1 or 2 minutes after 4. Pheew...! As usual no cameras during the show but afterwards Adrian had a photo-op with the VIVA showgirls.

On our last night, we had dinner at Stratosphere's Top of the World Restaurant. It's a revolving restaurant and it took about one hour to complete a full rotation. Great food, great service at a price, of course. Had the booth seat so we didn't have to turn our heads to look out. Hee..hee!
