Is Spring here yet? by Adrian

It is that time of the year again. It is almost spring...! See for yourself the signs around my house. I say these signs are better indicator than the groundhog (Punxsutawney Phil).You are a liar since Spring is not here yet.

Spring Happening

Last night while I was taking a shower around 10pm, Serene heard a loud bang. She peeped through the peep hole and saw no one. Unfortunately, as I was taking the thrash out I noticed something was wrong with the newly installed motion activated wall light. It did not turn on with my hand waving at the sensor. Upon closer look, we saw this.

We suspect a punk kid just busted the light for fun. I suppose not only human becoming active around spring (busting my light)##@!*&%$!!!, my backyard plants also started to be alive.

Recently I have just learned a new thing on how to deter squirrels from your yard using basic household items. Who would think it would be this Holy Trinity...!

Holy Trinity ( Frank's Red Hot Sauce, Paprika and Ajax dish washing liquid)

So far it works. All you have to do it mix five teaspoons Frank's Red Hot Sauce, two teaspoons Paprika, one teaspoon dish-washing liquid, water to fill up a gallon of bottle. Then you could fill up in a 32-ounce trigger-spray bottle. If you don't have the above mentioned ingredients, you could use Tabasco or any other similar hot wings sauce and chilli powder in place of paprika. Avoid Havahart Critter Ridder!!!. It is useless as it did not even prevent the squirrels from eating the tulip bulbs.

The duty of a house owner is to maintain and beautifying the home you reside so that you feel cozy and nice when you come home from a long work day. Here is what we have done recently.

Spring is in the air

After a long winded winter, the sign of spring is finally coming. Before the winter, I planted bulbs and tulips at the side of our fence. The result is very encouraging consider I saw signs of shoots coming from its bulbs.

Besides seeing the sign of spring is approaching, we also saw Brandon making lots of progress. He is walking and very engaging. His spontaneous giggles and funny acts have been our end of day "de-stress" elixir.

Pardon us for not updating for more frequently. It is quite taxing juggling between work, doing house work, blogging and taking care of a toddler. Anyway, stay tune for more updates as there are lots new activities lined up for the rest of the year.

Easter Bunny Approaching - Guest blogger Adrian

As I open my front door to take the trash out, I saw a Easter Bunny wild hare running across my front yard. Perhaps it is the sign of Spring or Easter approaching. When I told my mother in law, she quickly run outside to check our freshly planted tulips just in case the bunny hare ate it. I was expecting to see one hare instead I saw two bunnies hares playing with each other.
