I am not Irish but there's no harm in celebrating and venerating the Patron Saint of Ireland. Join the revelers, I'd say!

After all, Patrick is also my father's name. Legend has it that St. Patrick banished snakes from Ireland and so did my father *snigger*. He is always the first person to grab a rattan and kill all snakes that slither into our backyard. Sometimes the daschies beat him to it *more sniggers*. Ok, ok...so it's not that great a feat compared to the Saint. I can't blame him for trying to live up to his namesake, though ;o). Enjoy your day, Dad! And, Happy St. Paddy's Day.
