Auspicious or just another day?

Everyone is cashing in on 7-7-07. Numerology is big amongst the Chinese but lately everybody has their own justification about this particular day. All good, of course! It's a good day to get married, go to the casino, buy a couple of lottery tickets, etc.

7 seems to be a lucky number, as far as it's perceived by most Westerners. Chinese people, on the other hand adore the numbers: 8 and 9; as well as other combinations of 3s, 8s and9s.

So what's the big deal to Serenity? Today (7/7/07), Papa (in-law) leaves for Kuching after spending a month plus with us in NJ. His aircraft? Bowling Boeing 777. Hee..hee! I'm sure MAS announcements are comprehensible.
